SS20 Fish Head Noodle in Petaling Jaya

It's surprising that we have such a nice place in PJ for fish head noodles. Past by this place for many years already but never thought to step in and try the noodles. It's absolutely delicious and very flavorful. For PJ folks, you don't have to travel far to enjoy a nice (big portion too) bowl of fish head noodles.

Ordered the snakehead meat (ikan haruan) bee hoon soup. Soup was quite bland and the rice wine was too overpowering. Not sure how others liked their cooking but if any of you go try the fish head soup at Station 8 coffee shop at Chow Yang SS2, you will know why it is the best.

Good food, good price, clean and air-conditioned restaurant

Food here is nice but I actually come here just for the dessert. The ABC and cendol and sago is super awesome. Ask for extra gula Melaka!

Best fiah noodle in the neighborhood. Parking was easy on a weekend. Fine shaved ice in the cendol. A bit pricey though.

A bit on the pricey side but quality of the fish is good and worth the extra you are paying.

Generous portion with flavourful soup. Ask for the version with milk. Personal favourite is fish paste with thick mee hoon (made without adding flour and it's really bouncy to the bite!) followed by non fried haruan with thick mee hoon. They also have the option without noodles but spinach and fish only. Parking may be challenging during peak hour.

It's so tasty and reasonable price - My comfort food all the time

No complains about the food except the porridge was served in a chipped claypot. Thumbs up for some of their desserts.

Tasty fish with noodles. Top it off with some hot cili padi and the noodles are great for a meal

Varieties and maintaining the taste and quality

Super fresh fish and portions are great value. I love that they have options to order only the fish, noodles and bayam separately. The porridge is also good and perfect for two to share - super smooth!Love their herbal teas too cos you can request to have no sugar.

Good fish head noodles I enjoyed very much.

Milky fish soup tastes best. Fish tasted fresh. Portions are large so if you are small eaters, consider just taking 1 bowl and some side dish. The chilly which you can add by yourself is a must for spicy fans. Really adds another dimension. It is air-conditioned but not well ventilated. So you come out smelling like fish-noodle soup. If you don't mind, then it is awesome. Expect to pay about rm13-15/bowl.

Good! Take away is available in paper bowl. Transport self arranged via Lalamove. Cost borne by customer.

A place where the food is simple but good...and healthy for sure.

Food here is great, this area has a lot of Fish Head noodle shop so the competition is fierce, fortunately that's good for the customer so we can have variety and choice. I haven't tried the rest but this place is good, service is good and the portion is above average.

Noodles were really nice, but the portion got lesser as time goes by. Fish is fresh but somehow they added some flour that makes it taste a little weird. Soup is great with added wine. Not recommended if you're really hungry.

The fish is fresh and the soy milk is free from preservative, recommend to try their signature haruan fish head noodle and own made soya milk

The broth is slightly bland, the fried fish is juicy, the portion is good for two people so sharing is advisable unless you're famished. The shop is very clean and organised. Service is good and price is reasonable. Will come here again.

RM13 for Soong fish (add RM4 for 'ribs' only). Big portion of noodles and fish. Soup is quite thick. I don't quite like the batter though, soaks up the soup and become soggy. Shop is clean and with air-conditioning.

Served hot and fresh in sizeable portions. Can feed 3pax with order for 2. Fish portions are large and generous, fresh too with none of the fishy after taste. Reasonably priced too for groups and family get together. Challenge is to find a parking spot along this location but worth the walk. Yummy.

The soup is a bit salty, but fish is not bad. Reasonable price. Cendol taste is okay but don’t have red bean or other ingredient inside.

Place is clean. Food is ok. But I give 5 stars for the out-of-the-way service given by the boss. It was raining heavily and we couldn't get to our cars in Glo Damansara, so the towkay gave us a ride!
